I'm a 23 year old graduate origionally from Crewe, now living in Cambridge having finished my studies at the
University of Birmingham. I studied Bioinformatics and achieved a 2:1 in my degree, which included a years proffessional placement at Pfizer, spent at their Research and Development complex in Sandwich, Kent. I am now employed as a Systems Administrator at Autonomy Systems Limited in Cambridge, UK.
I play the BBb Bass (Tuba, to those of you who are not musically inclined!), and I played in the University Brass Band from its founding in 2006 to 2010. I am now practising up again in order to seek a band in Cambridge.
I enjoy playing FPSs (currently playing: Mass Effect, Half Life 2 Cinematic Mod and Bioshock), and other similar games. I also enjoy playing the Magic:The Gathering trading card game, and I am a DCI certified judge (level 1). I frequently officiate tournaments for it in the Birmingham and Stafford area; hopefully this will soon expand to encompass Cambridge!
I also work for His Dark Media as the message board administrator. I have been a member of that site since 2003 (When it was just HisDarkMaterials.org a fansite for Phillip Pullman's trilogy of that name), and was invited to help run it around 2005. Since then it has diversified, and is now a community-driven film site. We have been invited to several film premiers/screenings, including The Golden Compass, Twilight New Moon and The Butterfly Tattoo.
My old car, the loverly Seat Ibiza Salsa, has bitten the dust. So I replaced it... WITH A BETTER ONE :D Here is m new car, A 2006 Honda Civic iCTD 2.2L diesel.
